Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and committedEarly Years teacher to join our energetic team from Term 1, 2026.
This is more than a teaching role; it’s a calling to nurture students academically, spiritually, and personally within a Christ‑centred learning environment.
Selection Criteria
The selection criteria will include, but not be limited to, the following: –
- Articulation of Biblical Worldview in Education
- Curriculum Knowledge and Teaching Pedagogy
- Behaviour Management
- Contribution to growing sense of Christian Community
- Qualifications, experience, competencies, and Personal qualities.
Desirable
- Demonstrated experience teaching in Early Years (Kindy – Yr 2)
- Develop and maintain teaching programs aligned with Early Years
- Willingness to support co‑curricular or extra‑curricular programs.
- Must be an Australian citizen or hold a valid Australian work visa.
- Strong knowledge of the WA English Curriculum
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum, using varied strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Maintain accurate student progress records and communicate updates to students and parents via emails and Parent‑Teacher evenings.
- Implement effective classroom management to foster a positive learning environment.
- Support students in developing organisational and study skills.
- Participate in additional duties such as grounds duty, staff meetings, College functions, and House activities, contributing to the broader College community.
- Adhere to College policies, demonstrate care for students’ spiritual, emotional, social, and academic growth, and perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
