As a vital member of our organisation, the Manufacturing Operations Supervisor oversees all facets of production within the factory premises.
The incumbent drives efficiency improvements and manages human resources effectively to maximise output in line with business objectives. Key responsibilities include managing production operations and staff by overseeing daily output to boost productivity through effective personnel rotation and workflow management.
A successful candidate will possess previous experience in manufacturing and operations at managerial level – preferably in a fast-paced environment. They will also demonstrate strong leadership skills to lead factory and distribution teams in areas of responsibility and organisational control.
Furthermore, the ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating essential computer systems required for managing production outputs/workflows, able to analyse complex situations and think critically to find solutions and improve internal processes.
They will also have a track record of compliance with safety regulations and best practice safety in a manufacturing factory setting. The Manufacturing Operations Supervisor will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Maintaining awareness of current manufacturing regulation standards/requirements and ensuring compliance is also crucial. Establishing and maintaining a quality control program to meet quality standards and customer expectations is another key aspect of this role.
The Manufacturing Operations Supervisor will monitor key performance metrics, including production output levels, materials and labour costs, and report findings to senior management.
