The Company
Green Farmers is one of Australia's largest medicinal cannabis cultivators located in Victoria's South East (approximately an hour and a half from the city). We are growing quickly and need to expand our team to meet current customer demand and our business growth strategy. As a B2B supplier of medicinal cannabis to Australian brands and patients, Green Farmers is looking for highly motivated facilities assistant that can operate in a highly regulated industry.
The Role
The role is varied with no two days quite the same. You'll be part logistics, part grounds and part facility assistant for cleaning and general repairs.
We are seeking a reliable individual who has the ability to think on their feet and work proactively and efficiently.
Key responsibilities:
* Work closely with the managers across the facility to ensure smooth running of all equipment
* Operating a forklift to unload deliveries safely and efficiently
* Receiving and moving stock around the facility
* Emptying bins and managing waste
* Grounds maintenance including mowing, and general upkeep
* Cleaning and maintaining internal facility areas
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
* Current forklift licence
* Be self-motivated with a positive attitude
* Hold a current driver's licence with own vehicle
* Be flexible and have the ability to adapt to changing demands
* Good computer literacy with well-developed written and verbal communication skills
* Immediate Start preferred (will take into account resignation notification period for the right applicant)
All candidates are required to undergo a Police Check prior to commencement, which will be covered at the expense of Green Farmers.
