They have a project portfolio that consists of their own retail and residential developments, as well as projects in multiple sectors operating as a Principal Contractor in the Tier 2 market.
The Role
Our client is looking for a new intermediate level Estimator to join their commercial construction team at their office on the Sunshine Coast.
Reporting to and working closely with the senior leaders and operational teams, you will be responsible for cost planning and estimating for the construction division. You will work on tenders of different sizes and sectors. Projects will range in size between $10m and $100m and will be across the entire state.
About you
Experience pricing new build, Residential Apartments, Aged Care and Retirement Living, Retail and Commercial projects up to $100m will be ideal.
Your ability to join the dots from early-stage documentation and use your smarts to price what isn't in the plans is key. You will demonstrate high level accuracy in take‑offs and measuring to build up your own costs. You will have strong and extensive subcontractor and consultant relationships.
You will have a Bachelor in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar with at least 5 years experience working for a Principle Contractor.
