We are currently recruiting for a Graduate Control Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The role involves a variety of project and services based work, focused on automation systems and solutions, primarily in the Water, Manufacturing, Rail and Infrastructure industries.
Responsibilities
* Applying core engineering knowledge to support the design, programming, testing, and commissioning of automation solutions
* Collaborating with senior engineers and cross-functional teams on a variety of projects
* Meeting project deliverables and deadlines with a proactive approach
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of internal systems and tools.
* Participating in site visits and client interactions to understand operational requirements.
Qualifications
* Degree qualified in engineering (Electrical, Mechatronic, Software Engineering or similar)
* Strong technology, computer, and programming / coding skills
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word
* Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens, Schneider Electric
* Basic understanding of SCADA design principles
* Academic or internship experience in automation projects, process control, or industrial instrumentation
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams
* Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced project environment
* Willingness and ability to travel regularly
