About Us
We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team in delivering quality care services.
As a Support Worker, you will be at the forefront of providing assistance with daily living activities and supporting clients to live their lives independently.
You will undertake various tasks including domestic assistance, facilitating meal times, client movement and transport, personal hygiene assistance, communication support, assistance with recreational activities and high-needs personal care.
We require candidates who have:
* A minimum availability of 3 days a week;
* Previous experience working and supporting older clients and/or clients with disabilities;
* A strong desire to provide quality client service and build meaningful relationships;
* Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations;
* Highly professional and able to act in a compassionate, non-judgmental manner;
* A current police check less than 3 months old or willingness to undertake one;
* A current First Aid qualification (with 12 months to run) and CPR qualifications (with 3 months to run) or willingness to update;
* A current driver's license and own transport vehicle with insurance;
* Must have been vaccinated against COVID-19;
We also welcome applicants with knowledge and experience in similar industries or positions and a minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability Care or higher.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this role include:
* Providing assistance with housework and other areas of daily living;
* Providing quality personal care assistance;
* Assisting clients to access community facilities or appointments;
* Providing carers with general respite;
* Supporting clients with shopping and other daily activities;
