We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Canteen Assistant to join our busy canteen team. Working alongside four experienced team members, you will help prepare and serve fresh, healthy, and nutritious meals to our large student population in a fast-paced environment. This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.26FTE), 10 hours per fortnight.

About The Role
As a Canteen Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school canteen, providing quality service and nutritious meals to students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and serving fresh, healthy meals and snacks to students and staff.
* Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for food preparation and storage.
* Operating a cash register and handling transactions efficiently.
* Adhering to food safety and Workplace Health and Safety practices.
* Collaborating with team members to ensure the effective operation of the canteen.
Working Hours
* Monday: 8:00am to 12:30pm (4.5 hours, no break).
* Friday: 8:00am to 2:00pm (6 hours including a 30-minute break).
About You

* Food handling experience (preferred but not essential).
* A commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic workspace.
