Lead with Impact at Tamworth Hospital Outpatient Centre – Administration Team Leader
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for people, organisation, and top-tier service delivery? Step into a role where every day brings something new, and where your leadership truly makes a difference — both to your team and to the patients we serve.
About the Outpatient Centre
Located in the heart of Tamworth Hospital, our vibrant Outpatient Centre spans three floors and hosts over 20 diverse clinics. You'll be leading a close-knit team of 12 dedicated administration officers who not only take pride in their work but also love celebrating the fun moments – from Go Pink Month to festive dress-up days (with plenty of food involved, of course).
About the Role
No two days are the same in this fast-paced, people-focused role. As the Administration Team Leader, you'll be at the centre of it all — ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic spaces by:
* Coordinating rosters and daily workflows
* Providing guidance and support to your admin team
* Liaising with clinicians and ensuring a seamless patient experience
* Overseeing billing and compliance procedures
* Promoting a culture of professional, caring, and patient-centred service in every interaction
Your leadership will help create a welcoming, efficient, and responsive environment for both staff and patients.
About You
You're a natural leader with a positive, can-do attitude, exceptional people skills, and a strong commitment to outstanding customer service. You're confident juggling multiple tasks, thrive in a collaborative environment, and bring a sense of calm and clarity — even on the busiest days.
What's in it for You?
* Comprehensive orientation and training in NSW Health systems and processes
* Access to leadership and management development courses through NSW Health
* Ongoing support from your line manager, including regular check-ins
* A personalised training and development plan created with you in your first three months
* A warm, welcoming team culture that celebrates success — and knows how to have fun
* Monthly Allocated Days Off (for full-time employees)
* 4 weeks annual leave (pro-rata for part time employees)
* 6 weeks annual leave (for eligible full time nurses)
* Paid parental leave (for eligible employees) - giving you the opportunity for true Worklife balance
* Salary packaging options - up to $11,600 plus novated leasing
* Fitness Passport for health and well-being - discounted gym options for you and your family
* Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for staff and family members
