About The Role
Ventia are seeking Expressions of Interest for Trades based staff in the Malmsbury region for a Permanent Full-Time opportunity starting in early 2026.
We are seeking the following for proactive and reactive maintenance works in a new large complex facility.
* Trade Assistant
* Refrigeration / HVAC Technician
* Plumber
Responsibilities
* Participate in a multiskilled team for delivery of high‑quality facility management and maintenance services at a unique facility.
* Identify and rectify equipment and building infrastructure faults in a time‑critical environment.
* Perform skilled work in the installation, maintenance and repair of equipment, wiring, fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment.
* Plumbers to install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures and respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies; trades assistant to assist.
* Manage the incident reporting register for all works completed within required timeframes.
About You
You will have experience as a Trade Assistant / HVAC or Plumber working in a time‑critical environment with a focus on reactive maintenance.
You Will Also Possess
* Demonstrated experience in time‑critical rectification and reporting
* Capability in maintaining scheduled work plans
* Competence in a team environment
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
* High standards across compliance and driving safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) in your work
* A current unrestricted drivers' licence
* Be able to complete a National Police Check and Medical check
