About You
You are either a recent graduate or an early-career engineer with a genuine passion for technology and a curiosity to learn. You bring a positive, can-do attitude, are comfortable asking questions, and thrive in hands-on environments. You have an eye for detail, enjoy solving practical problems, and are motivated to grow your skills across mechatronics, electronics, and UAV systems. Above all, you are eager to learn from experienced engineers and contribute to building and testing high-performance UAVs.
The Role
We are seeking a full-time graduate/junior mechatronics engineer to support:
* Conducting quality checks on electrical, electronic, and mechanical assemblies.
* Performing integration testing of avionics, sensors, and subsystems.
* Designing and documenting cables and harnesses, including verification and quality control.
* Carrying out hands-on work with sensors, electronics, and wiring during assembly and testing.
* Supporting system-level testing in both laboratory and field environments.
* Preparing and maintaining aircraft records, unit-level test histories, and engineering documentation.
* Coordinating with the production and procurement team on avionics inventory management and build preparation.
* Assisting in troubleshooting avionics and supporting the flight operations team daily.
* Designing and building test rigs to acquire engineering data and validate actuators, sensors, and critical flight hardware.
* Executing structured test procedures and performing troubleshooting to confirm system performance.
Experience with the following is advantageous (but not essential):
* Exposure to drones, UAVs, or robotics projects (university or personal).
* Basic knowledge of Python for scripting or automation.
* Familiarity with ArduPilot or other autopilot systems.
* Hands-on experience with sensors, electronics, or mechanical projects.
* Participation in student competitions, clubs, or technical projects that show initiative.
This role is ideal for someone at the start of their career who wants to learn, be mentored, and gain real-world experience working on cutting-edge UAV technology.
