Job Title: Digital Intelligence Leader
The Australian Federal Police is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead its digital intelligence capabilities.
This role requires technical leadership, strong teamwork and people management skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as experience in mentoring, developing, and leading data analysts.
The ideal candidate will have formal tertiary qualifications in data analytics or equivalent skills and experience. They must also have experience in business intelligence and data governance, AI/ML services, and delivering national security technical surveillance capabilities in a fast-paced operational environment.
The successful applicant will be based in Canberra or Melbourne and must have the ability to obtain a Negative Vetting 2 security clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic direction for the development and implementation of digital intelligence capabilities.
* Leverage expertise to enhance the credibility, reliability, and usability of digital data holdings.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation and adoption of new technologies.
* Ensure adherence to data governance, evidential, statutory, and internal policy requirements.
