We are looking for a highly motivated Print Centre Manager to join our Krew. If you have a passion for delivering high-quality print products, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage work efficiently, we want to hear from you!
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Operating and maintaining large-format printers, finishing, and cutting equipment.
- Preparing jobs for print, ensuring they are accurate and print-ready.
- Managing production schedules to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
- Differentiating between various print media types, including brands, applications, and lifespans.
- Performing finishing control checks and managing product dispatch.
- Liaising with external suppliers for outsourced work.
- Keeping track of stock and assisting in ordering to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Preparing quotes, either by using the price list or the guidelines provided by the centre owner.
- Raising invoices for jobs as completed and ensuring that jobs are wrapped, packed, and delivered within scheduled time frame.
- Understanding limitations and expectations of equipment in relation to the type of work coming into the centre.
- Maintaining a tidy and safe work setting and adhering to Workplace Health & Safety standards.
- Installing signage at client sites.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience operating large format printing equipment, including finishing tools.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with RIP software for large-format printing.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage production scheduling.
- Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
- High attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
- A positive “can-do” attitude and a strong work ethic.
