Since 2012, Machter Autoparts has built a strong reputation as a trusted importer and wholesaler of aftermarket automotive parts. We supply a wide range of components for 4WDs, Utes, SUVs, and sedans, covering popular makes such as Holden, Ford, Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, and many more.

With continued growth and a new facility in Auburn, we're seeking a reliable and motivated Receptionist & Customer Service Officer to be the first point of contact for our customers and play a key role in supporting daily operations.

About the Role

Every day will be different, you'll help customers, support your teammates, and keep our busy office running smoothly. This position suits someone who enjoys working in a fast‐paced environment, interacting with customers, and ensuring everything runs smoothly from the front desk to the back office.

Responsibilities include:
* Greeting and assisting walk‐in customers, managing all front desk enquiries.
* Processing orders, forms, applications, and customer requests accurately and efficiently.
* Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients by providing excellent support and timely assistance.
* Identifying and addressing customer needs to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
* Maintaining up‐to‐date knowledge of company products and services to assist customers effectively.
* Coordinating with sales, warehouse, and operations teams to streamline order flow and improve efficiency.
* Staying informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to provide relevant support.
* Collecting and reporting customer feedback and service issues to relevant departments.
* Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
* Supporting continuous improvement of customer service processes and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
What We're Looking For

You'll thrive in this role if you are:

* Well‐spoken, friendly, and confident in both in‐person and phone communication.
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
* A proactive team player with a positive "can‐do" attitude.
* Tech‐savvy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
* Holder of a current NSW driver's licence.
* Experience in customer service, office administration, or the automotive industry is preferred but not essential.
