Senior Project Coordinator Role

This is a temporary employment opportunity with the NSW Government. The role will be based in St Leonards and will involve working on fast-paced projects that make positive impacts for the community and the health system.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated excellent project management skills, strong organisational skills, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

* Develop and deliver projects that help the community connect with the right care for their unplanned health needs.
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal and external partners.
* Prepare high-quality written materials for managers, senior executives, and other parts of the government.
* Develop, implement, and track performance metrics for existing and new projects.

About You

* Demonstrated experience in health, preferably in project management or a related field.
* Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to synthesise and present complex concepts to diverse audiences.
* Strong relationship management and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as a degree in business, public health, or a related field.

As a Senior Project Officer, you will work within a team to develop and deliver projects that meet the strategic objectives of the Single Front Door program. Your focus will be on managing relationships, providing expert advice, and supporting the delivery of projects.

You will use your experience managing projects and your ability to successfully engage with stakeholders across NSW Health and adjacent sectors. Your capabilities in project management and knowledge of the NSW Health system will underpin your success as you contribute to the delivery of Single Front Door initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

* Developing and delivering projects that meet the strategic objectives of the Single Front Door program.
* Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including internal and external partners.
* Providing expert advice and guidance to support the delivery of projects.
* Managing relationships and negotiating with stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.

Employment Details

* Temporary Full Time (up to June 2027)
* Health Manager Level 3
* $127,150 - $144,444 plus Superannuation
* 38 hours per week
