About the Role
We're expanding our Karratha team and are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel / Field Service Mechanic who wants dependable, long‑term work close to home.
In this residential role, you'll carry out the inspection, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a wide‑ranging fleet including forklifts, compressors, generators, lighting towers, and other machinery. Forklifts make up a large portion of our fleet, so experience in material handling equipment is highly regarded.
You will work independently in the field, supported by a national technical network, with the autonomy to manage your day, order parts, and deliver high‑quality service to our customers.

About You
* Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic or similar
* Strong skills in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostics
* High Risk Forklift Licence (LF) preferred
* Able to work independently to high safety and quality standards
* Rio Tinto inducted (desirable but not essential)
