Allaro Homes Cairns is known for delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across the Cairns region and Port Douglas. As our team continues to grow, we are looking for a full-time Administration Officer to support project, site and office operations.

What you'll do
* Prepare and process construction documentation: client selections, subcontractor and supplier quotes, work orders, variations and compliance forms.
* Coordinate and lodge building approvals, permits and compliance paperwork with relevant authorities.
* Be the primary client contact—set expectations, manage timelines and maintain clear, proactive communication.
* Assist with accounts payable and reconcile invoices in line with project requirements.
* Maintain accurate records across project management and accounting systems.
* Monitor and maintain current WH&S documentation from subcontractors.
* Coordinate trades, materials, site access and safety documentation.
* Track milestones and approvals; keep job files accurate and up to date.
* Provide high-level administrative support to management and supervisors.
* General office duties to support the day-to-day running of the business.
About you
* Minimum 2 years administration experience (construction industry preferred)
* Reliable and committed to full-time hours (Mon–Fri, 9:00am–5:00pm).
* Strong organisation and time-management; comfortable juggling priorities and deadlines.
* Excellent written and verbal communication with a professional phone manner.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document preparation.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and quick to learn new software.
* A proactive, "can-do" teammate who can also work independently.
* Australian work rights required (Australian citizen or permanent resident)
