Music Teacher Position, commencing Term 1, 2026

MOSMAN PREP is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic and motivated Music Teacher.

This position requires the successful applicant to have a Working with Children Check.
The successful applicant will be required to teach classroom music lessons and must be able to tutor small group ensembles and conduct a large ensemble when required. The ability to teach more than one instrument is desirable but not essential.
Candidates for this role will be required to demonstrate:
* Experience working with primary aged boys.
* A demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships with students that build and maintain student engagement and retention.
* Effective interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
* Technology literate and experienced in its integration into every aspect of students' learning.
The successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:
* Qualifications in tertiary performance and/or music education.
* Experience working with primary aged boys.
* Experience in teaching individuals and small groups as part of curriculum based instrumental programs.
* An ability to develop positive relationships with students that build and maintain student engagement and retention.
* An ability to work within a teaching team.
