Avionics Engineer Role
The Avionics Engineer will be working with the Capability Development team to develop and certify capability enhancements to the C-27J aircraft.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing, reviewing, and approving technical repair and design documents for aircraft Avionics / Electrical and Electronic Systems.
* Providing engineering input to maintain the C-27J configuration, technical and operational publications.
* Ensuring the Engineering Task management database and other tools are accurately updated with relevant information.
* Analysing data and preparing reports for meetings.
* Managing engineering workflows and tasks in coordination with customer organisation priorities to maintain airworthiness, mission capability, and aircraft availability.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A bachelor's degree in Aerospace Avionics and/or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
* Chartered Membership of Engineers Australia (CPEng), RPEQ.
* Minimum 3+ years' experience as an Avionics and/or Electrical/Electronic Engineer in Defence Aviation.
* The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV1.
