Areas of Work / What you'll be doing
* Civil infrastructure – roads, drainage, marine works – construction, maintenance & capital programmes.
* People & contractors – lead, motivate, develop and hold suppliers to account.
* Budgets & grants – plan, manage and hunt for external funding to get more done.
* Parks & open spaces – from mowing schedules to multi‐year master plans.
* Disaster response – first on scene when rain stops.
* Strategy & planning – asset management plans, works programmes, long‐term thinking.
* Ensure compliance with legislative, safety and Council standards.
What we're looking for
* Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil Construction (or equivalent grit and experience).
* Proven delivery of civil construction and maintenance – roads, drainage, the full picture.
* Real leadership chops – you've supervised teams, developed people and held the line on performance.
* Financial management experience – budgets, cost control, grant acquittals.
* Solid WHS knowledge and a safety‐first mindset.
* Queensland Driver's Licence & Construction White Card.

Salary range: $97,021 – $109,577 per annum
Leave entitlements: 5 weeks annual leave, 15 days personal leave
Superannuation: 12% Superannuation contributions
