We are seeking reliable, customer-focused Toll Booth Attendants to join the Waste Management Centre on a part-time roster. This role ensures efficient, compliant, and friendly service to customers and visitors.
This hands-on position involves operating the weighbridge, collecting waste transfer fees, providing guidance on compliant waste disposal, and maintaining accurate records. You will assist in directing visitors safely and appropriately on-site.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional customer service to customers, visitors, and contractors
* Operate the weighbridge and process EFTPOS transactions
* Provide site instructions and disposal guidance to customers
* Inspect vehicle loads for safety and environmental compliance
* Respond to queries professionally and efficiently
Requirements
* Previous experience in customer service roles
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* EFTPOS handling proficiency and basic reconciliation
* Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn site-specific systems
