About The Role
As a key member of our Water Process Team, you will be responsible for treating, operating and maintaining Council’s water supply and recycled water treatment systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide control, operation, monitoring, testing and maintenance of all facets of the Council's water process systems and recycled water infrastructure.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve efficient work practices and contribute to workplace development.
* Participate in rotational overtime roster for the operation of Water Treatment Plants, reservoirs and Pump Stations on weekends and public holidays.
About You
* Current Class C Drivers Licence is required.
* General Construction Induction Card is mandatory.
* Certificate III in Water Industry Operations (or currently working towards completion) is essential. A relevant Trade Certificate will be considered advantageous.
* Current Tetanus, Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B immunisations or willingness to obtain are necessary.
* Recent demonstrated experience in water treatment plant operations and water quality is highly regarded.
* Proven ability to use computer software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn other key applications used within Council.
