Lead Therapist Role
We are seeking an experienced therapist to join our team in delivering comprehensive care coordination services for children and youth. The successful applicant will work closely with a multidisciplinary consortia team to provide high-quality, evidence-based clinical care.
The role involves addressing service gaps for the 'missing middle' by enhancing accessibility and integrating primary mental health care, psychosocial support, and early intervention. You will promote holistic wellbeing by considering broader determinants of health, fostering collaboration among providers, and ensuring a sustainable, adaptable service responsive to community needs.
About the Role
* This is a permanent full-time opportunity that offers HPSS Level 3 plus Super Salary Packaging options to significantly boost your income.
* You will be based in Rockhampton, QLD (with some flexibility to work from home).

Your Responsibilities
* Contribute high-quality evidence-based clinical care as a member of the multidisciplinary consortia team delivering care coordination services for children and youth.
* Address service gaps for the 'missing middle' by enhancing accessibility and integrating primary mental health care, psychosocial support, and early intervention.
* Promote holistic wellbeing by considering broader determinants of health, fostering collaboration among providers, and ensuring a sustainable, adaptable service responsive to community needs.
Requirements
* Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist, OR, AASW registration/eligibility as a Social Worker, OR, Level 2 ACA registration/eligibility.
* Knowledge and understanding of the theory underpinning evidence-based interventions and clinical practice as well as demonstrated excellence in the practical application of such, in the areas of mental health and alcohol and drug use.
* Highly developed communication (including written) and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to engage with people, advocate on their behalf and establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, clients, families & friends and stakeholders.
* Experience in the use of electronic client/customer management systems, ability to use a desktop computer, and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
* Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a Blue Card for paid employment.
* Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance for paid employment.
