The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters has completed a strategic review of its Library Services.
As a result, a new organisational structure has been developed to best meet the emerging needs of its customers.
The Council is seeking applications from innovative, dynamic, results‑driven library officers and leaders who wish to shape the future of library services and reimagine how our libraries support learning, creativity and connection.
Available Positions
* Library Leads (2 full‑time, Monday–Friday) – Lead and inspire a talented team to deliver programs and services that reflect our diverse and evolving community.
* Digital Engagement Officer (1 full‑time, Monday–Friday) – Bring your passion for innovation to build a future‑ready library service. Work with the leadership team to deliver strategic technology integration and evidence‑based, data‑driven decision making.
* Community Resource Officers (2 full‑time or part‑time, Monday–Friday) – Use analytical skills and passion for reading to build a diverse, inclusive collection for our community.
* Community Engagement Officers (2 full‑time or part‑time, Monday–Friday) – Deliver events and programs supporting learning and well‑being.
* Senior Customer Experience Officers (3 part‑time, Saturday–Sunday) – Provide a customer‑focused, engaging service. Coordinate site operations and create a welcoming, responsive environment.
* Customer Experience Officers (2 part‑time, rostered weekdays or weekends) – Provide high‑quality library services with a smile and complete the customer‑service team.
