Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ambulance Transport Attendant to join our team. As an ATA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the efficient transport of non-emergency patients.
About the Role:
* Perform patient assessment and intervention on-road
* Provide high-quality patient care and treatment during on-road transport
* Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients and stakeholders
* Work collaboratively with other team members
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance), or Bachelor of Health Science (Paramedic), or Bachelor of Nursing (with AHPRA registered nurse registration), or other equivalent qualification for Ambulance Officers recognized by relevant authorities
* Evidence of successful completion of required clinical placements and a Clinical Skills Assessment, completion of a minimum of 400 hours operational experience under the direct supervision of a clinical instructor, successful completion of clinical skills assessment (for Diploma of Paramedical Science qualified candidates)
* The availability to work 10 and 12-hour shifts across 7 days
* The ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions
