Key Responsibilities :
* Manage and process fortnightly and monthly payroll for both internal staff and clients.
* Ensure accurate setup and offboarding of employees.
* Interpret and apply relevant awards and legislation to ensure compliance with all payroll requirements.
* Handle payroll inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
* Manage Workcover renewals and assist with superannuation, IAS, and BAS reporting.
* Collaborate with the bookkeeping team and provide general administrative support as needed.
About You :
* 2+ years of experience in a payroll role, with a strong understanding of payroll processing and compliance.
* Proficient in Xero and Kronos.
* Knowledge of superannuation, BAS, and IAS reporting.
* Experience with the ATO portal.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
* Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
* A proactive and positive approach to work and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
