Why your role matters
The General Services Coordinator provides operational support within the team, championing change while delivering on FM's objectives. The role supervises waste and relocations contractors, conducts inspections and audits, and ensures compliance with contracts, legislation and UNSW policies.
About The Role
Provide operational support to ensure high-quality service with minimal disruptions.
Assist with contract administration : development, procurement, transition plans, performance monitoring, audits and daily liaison with contractors.
Prepare annual budgets, process purchase orders, invoices, and conduct internal cost recoveries.
Coordinate projects to streamline operations, including document development, stakeholder engagement, coordination activities and reporting.
Conduct inspections and audits to verify compliance with contracts and UNSW policies.
Assist with annual operational plans, key performance targets and strategic planning.
Compile and analyse data to produce management reports.
Develop documentation : correspondence, presentations, business cases, briefing papers, reports and project plans.
About You
Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in facilities, relocations, mail, cleaning, grounds management, or waste management.
Experience in waste management and / or relocations and furniture reuse.
Project coordination experience with organisational and financial management skills.
Contract administration and contractor management experience.
Advanced computer skills : Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, internet and relevant databases.
High-quality customer service delivery with proactive, solution-focused attitude and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with business improvement initiative experience.
Current NSW Driver's Licence.
