Alroe Management Services is a large strawberry farm based in Beerwah. With a busy season coming up we have a unique position which will allow you to work as both a HC truck driver during the harvest and as a farm hand during other times of the year. We are looking for a versatile worker who is a team-player and can also work well independently. Duties include but are not limited to: Farm Fand - General farm duties Weed control Tractor work Irrigation set-up General maintenance Truck Driver - Monitor loading and unloading of goods Pickup and deliver goods as required Check fuel and oil levels in trucks before loading goods. Inspect trucks to ensure working conditions of brakes, lights, wipers, windsheild, fire extinguisher and other safety equipment in the truck. Enure that freight is well secured To be successful in this role you must have: • Current HC or MC licence & Forklift Licence • Experience driving tractors would be highly regarded. • Truck driving experience – experience transporting fresh produce would be highly regarded but not essential. • A good level of physical fitness • A positive approach to work with good common sense. • Must be able to work across a seven day week (especially during the strawberry harvest ) If you think you might be a good fit for this job - please respond with your current resume and details of any current tickets and lcences.
