Your role
We're currently seeking expressions of interest for an upcoming opportunity within our team. We're looking for an experienced Pega Digital Bank Support Engineer to provide L2/L3 support for a large-scale Digital Banking platform built on Pega 8.x, with a focus on ensuring availability, performance, and stability of core banking customer journeys. The engineer will be responsible for monitoring, issue resolution, minor enhancements, and collaborating with platform and business teams to support continuous operations in a dynamic, regulated environment.
In this role you will play a key role in:
Provide end-to-end support for the Pega Digital Bank application, including incident diagnosis, resolution, and root cause analysis.Monitor application health, performance, and integrations with upstream/downstream systems.Manage and resolve service requests, configuration issues, and environment-related tasks.Analyze Pega rules, data pages, connectors, and decision logic to identify and fix issues.Collaborate with product teams and Pega developers to troubleshoot and resolve defects or enhancement requests.Perform minor enhancements, version deployments, and support patch releases.Maintain system documentation, knowledge base articles, and runbooks.Adhere to ITIL-aligned service management practices (Incident, Problem, Change Management).Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations in the banking domain.Your profile
4+ years of experience in Pega Application Support, preferably within Digital Banking or Financial Services domain.Strong knowledge of Pega Platform 8.x, including case types, flows, decisioning, integrations, and Dev Studio.Experience in Pega Digital Bank solutions, such as onboarding, loan origination, customer service, or KYC workflows.Proficiency in troubleshooting application and integration issues involving SOAP/REST APIs, MQ, or external databases.Familiarity with Pega Admin Studio, SMA, and other monitoring tools.Good understanding of Pega PRPC architecture, rule resolution, performance tuning, and log analysis.Exposure to Agile delivery models and CI/CD pipeline tools is a plus.Working knowledge of banking compliance and security standards is desirable.Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.What you'll love about working here
