Deputy Head of Primary Job Description
The Deputy Head of Primary will play a key role in shaping the learning culture at our school, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to love God wholeheartedly, engage deeply in learning, serve others with compassion, and live with purpose beyond themselves.
This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership and teaching skills. The successful applicant will work closely with the Head of Primary to support the daily life of the school, mentoring staff, supporting team leaders, overseeing student wellbeing and behaviour, and partnering with parents and carers in ways that build trust and shared purpose.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A thoughtful Christian leader with a heart for discipleship and formation
* Proven leadership experience within a Primary setting
* Highly collaborative, and organised, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Qualified teacher with current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
* Current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
