Job Responsibilities and Requirements
1. The planning, organising, leading, and controlling of all aspects and duties assigned to achieve production standards.
2. Managing all labour-related issues to ensure staff contribute to the company's objectives.
3. Maintaining product quality, hygiene, and biosecurity standards.
4. Managing all resources for the maximum benefit of the company.
5. Implementing and managing the continual improvement of 20 Keys principles, risk, and safety.
6. Minimum of a Grade 12 education; tertiary education in Agriculture is an added advantage.
7. At least 3 years of breeder experience.
8. Passionate, self-motivated, and performance-driven.
9. A team player with strong people skills and staff management abilities.
10. Good administrative skills and document control abilities.
11. Pro-active, accurate, and able to work independently.
12. Working hours are irregular and include weekend duties.
13. Accommodation on the farm is provided and required to be lived in.
