**The Role**
Our client, an excellent and interesting industry fund, are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Team Leader to join the team. As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in coaching and mentoring a group of member service consultants. Your responsibilities will encompass managing workflows, coordinating engagement campaigns, and providing support to the financial advice division. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement and reinforce our commitment to delivering outstanding member experiences within a dynamic and rapidly evolving landscape.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Delivering professional and effective assistance to diverse members through face-to-face, telephonic, and written interactions.
- Facilitating retirement advice and engagement initiatives across various communication channels including phone, face-to-face, seminars, and virtual platforms.
- Exemplifying leadership within the engagement team by providing unparalleled personalised service and identifying avenues for member growth and retention.
- Overseeing the performance of team members, offering guidance for service enhancement.
- Coaching, monitoring, and supervising direct reports, ensuring their proficiency and confidence in their roles.
- Allocating resources to sustain optimal service levels at the front office reception.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and leaders to foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive organisational culture.
**About You**
- Demonstrated leadership experience (1-2 years) that highlights your ability to cultivate a motivating work environment and drive team members toward excellence in customer interactions.
- Experience in Financial Services, particularly Superannuation highly desirable
- A proven track record of managing change and promoting continuous improvement within a team setting.
- Prior experience in customer service and providing general advice, particularly within the context of pre-retiree, retiree, and post-retiree member segments.
- A genuine enthusiasm for serving members and a keen interest in advancing your career in the financial services sector.
- Proficiency in the superannuation industry, including legislative, product, and provider insights.
- Strong computer skills encompassing the Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with diverse technology platforms.
**Qualifications**:
- RG146 accreditation in superannuation.
- Highly desirable: Diploma in Financial Services.
- Highly desirable: JP qualification.
