Construction Professional Opportunity
The role of Construction Technician is a critical position in our team, focusing on providing construction services for small projects. While the technician may not be responsible for large-scale jobs, their skills can extend to tasks such as rough and finish carpentry, drywall installation, painting, and flooring work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare work areas for various construction activities, ensuring safe and efficient processes.
* Collaborate effectively with management and fellow technicians to streamline production operations.
* Execute production processes as directed, maintaining quality standards.
* Conclude each workday or project with a thorough cleanup, leaving the job site in an organized and orderly condition.
Position Requirements:
- Valid driver's license.
- Successful completion of a background check, as required by applicable law.
Physical Capabilities:
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Comfort working at heights and in confined spaces such as crawl spaces and attics.
- Proficiency in handling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying objects.
- Competence in working with and around cleaning agents.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction preferred
- Strong work ethic
Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements:
This is a full-time position working 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. This position frequently requires long hours (beyond 8 hours a day), including some evening and weekend work. Travel is required and is primarily local. However, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
