Key Performance Indicators include optimising plant and equipment performance, ensuring compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality requirements. The role is responsible for leading by example to foster a Zero Harm safety culture across all sites and teams.
Job Responsibilities:
* Lead the Maintenance Team to ensure daily maintenance plans are executed efficiently and effectively.
* Promote safety initiatives and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
* Closely collaborate with the Maintenance Planner to develop and execute efficient maintenance schedules.
* Oversee contractor performance and ensure they adhere to required standards.
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work and ensure high-quality maintenance standards are maintained.
* Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for fixed and mobile equipment.
* Coordinate maintenance schedules with operational demands to meet production targets.
Essential Qualifications:
* Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, or Boilermaking is preferred.
* Significant experience in quarrying, mining, or materials handling is necessary.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory or management role is essential.
* Strong background in crushing and screening equipment and heavy mobile equipment is highly valued.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills are required.
* Strong planning and scheduling abilities are necessary.
