What You'll Do
Safety & Compliance: Promote Downer's Zero Harm practices, ensure WHS adherence, and conduct hazard/risk assessments with incident reporting.
Project Delivery Leadership: Lead and manage teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Performance & Reporting: Capture KPIs, provide input to reports for Defence stakeholders, and ensure evidence of compliance.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build collaborative relationships with Defence, subcontractors and partners, maintaining effective communication and positive feedback.
Continuous Improvement: Identify efficiency and quality improvements, participate in workshops/seminars, and implement initiatives to enhance project outcomes.
What You'll Bring
Qualifications & Clearances: Relevant tertiary qualifications (Project Management, Construction, Engineering or Business), Defence Security Clearance, White Card and Driver Licence.
Defence Project Delivery: Experience delivering Defence Estate Works Program (EWP) projects and managing subcontractors.
Project Administration & Compliance: Strong background in administration, compliance and interpreting financial forecasting data.
Stakeholder & Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management and client liaison capabilities.
Leadership & Problem-Solving: Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, ensure quality/compliance and adapt to changing project needs.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.
