Key Role: Veterinary Pathologist


The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries NT is seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Pathologist to support animal biosecurity in the Northern Territory.



* Conduct veterinary necropsy, histopathology and cytology examinations to diagnose diseases affecting animals in the region.

* Supervise technicians in laboratory settings to ensure accurate diagnostic results are achieved.

* Support research programs relevant to animal health issues, collaborating with experts to develop effective solutions.

* Ensure compliance with National Association of Testing Authorities guidelines for accredited veterinary pathology diagnostic services.



The ideal candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in Veterinary Science or Veterinary Medicine suitable for registration as a veterinarian in the Northern Territory. In addition to their academic credentials, they must have extensive experience in veterinary science and diagnostic pathology.
