Make a real impact through hands-on community mental health care that supports recovery, dignity and hope. This Clinical Nurse role is ideal for a skilled practitioner who enjoys working autonomously while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence-based adult mental health services. You'll lead through practice, bring calm clinical judgement to complex situations, and contribute to outcomes that matter—every day.
What Your Day Will Look Like….
You will be out in the Toowoomba community delivering hands-on adult mental health nursing care — completing comprehensive assessments, responding to acute presentations, and coordinating short‑term case management within a recovery‑focused framework. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, contribute to shared care planning, manage clinical risk, and use evidence‑based practice and clinical systems to support safe, high‑quality outcomes. Alongside direct care, you'll influence practice by mentoring others, contributing to quality improvement activities, and modelling the values, professionalism and calm clinical leadership that define Darling Downs Health.
