Technical Support Officer Job No: 677446 Adelaide Permanent Full Time Insurance Pay Band 3 Internal Secondment Opportunity – 6 Months Role: Technical Support Officer (Claims Specialist Team) Location: Adelaide We have an exciting 6-month secondment opportunity for someone to join and support the Claims Specialist team in Adelaide as a Technical Support Officer. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to broaden your skills, contribute to team success, and further develop your career within Suncorp. About the Role As a Technical Support Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Claims Specialists and Team Leader. Your focus will be on: Assisting with referrals and daily task support Providing coaching for success and training support Completing COP status update reports Supporting the Team Leader to manage daily team priorities Preparing monthly reports on trends or issues identified during coaching Actively contributing to the achievement of team and business goals Key Accountabilities Meet or exceed individual Scorecard objectives Support the Team Leader in building a high-performance culture Develop strong working relationships with team members, internal stakeholders, and external service providers Ensure customer enquiries and complaints are managed effectively Positively contribute to risk culture, compliance, and organisational standards Provide timely and professional support to enable the team to achieve strategic objectives About You To be successful in this secondment, you’ll bring: Previous insurance or claims experience (desirable) Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Resilience, self-discipline, and a customer-first mindset Confidence in decision-making and problem-solving under pressure Ability to identify and support the development of others through coaching Strong knowledge of compliance requirements and the Insurance Code of Practice What’s in it for you?
