About APC
The Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) is an independent not-for-profit company, responsible for the accreditation of pharmacy education and training, under the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme. With over 40 years of history and experience, APC sets and maintains the standards of pharmacy education to ensure that pharmacists who practise in Australia, deliver safe and effective health care.
APC are innovative, collaborative, creative and courageous in our thinking and foster an environment that supports life-long learning, emerging technologies and best practice.
We need the best people. People who genuinely care for the work they do and the positive impact they can make. People who can develop a deep understanding of their challenges to co-create innovative solutions that help shape the future.
About the role
The Exam Results Review Panel (ERRP) plays a critical role in supporting the fairness, integrity and defensibility of APC exams. We are seeking experienced pharmacists to contribute their expertise to this important work.
As a panel member, you will be part of a structured post-exam review process, helping to ensure that assessment outcomes are robust, evidence-based, and reflective of contemporary pharmacy practice. You will review selected exam questions identified through psychometric analysis, applying independent clinical judgement to confirm that they are accurate, current and aligned with the intended assessment objectives.
In this role, you will help ensure that APC exams appropriately assess the knowledge and skills required for safe and effective practice, supporting public safety and confidence in the profession.
Our values are important to us, and we live by them. You will be supported with respectful engagement and supportive collaboration within an organisation.
The APC recognises the value of diversity and inclusion, and we encourage people of all abilities, gender identities, and cultural backgrounds to apply, particularly people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage, and those who may experience diversity or disability related barriers in securing employment.
Who should apply
We are seeking experienced pharmacists from community, hospital, and academic settings who are actively engaged in practice or education and bring strong clinical knowledge and professional judgement.
If you are interested in contributing to the quality of pharmacy assessments and supporting safe and effective practice, we encourage you to apply.
