Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to support engineering governance and site operations.
* Lead the review of mechanical documentation and control processes.
* Conduct thorough technical reviews of mechanical designs and drawings.
* Provide expert guidance on mechanical standards and risk controls.
* Support incident investigations, risk assessments, and maintenance, engineering, and management (MEM) processes.
* Participate in business operation sessions, safety meetings, and hazard identification activities.
About You:
* A tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering (trade or university).
* At least 5 years' experience in mining with a strong background in underground operations.
* Competent skills in SAP, Fiori, FLEX, Meridian, and MS Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Coal mining background with experience working underground.
* Ability to work as a supervisor and lead teams.
