Role Overview:
The Groundsman is responsible for the overall presentation, maintenance, and upkeep of all outdoor areas across Hot Shots Golf. This includes ensuring that the driving range, par 3 golf course, mini golf course, gardens, lawns, and surrounding grounds are maintained to a high standard, providing a clean, safe, and visually appealing environment for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain all turf areas including mowing, edging, fertilising, and irrigation across the driving range, par 3 course, mini golf, and general grounds
* Care for garden beds, plants, and landscaped areas, including pruning, weeding, mulching, and planting
* Ensure the driving range and golf course areas are clean, tidy, and free from hazards
* Conduct routine maintenance and basic repairs on groundskeeping equipment including mowers, whipper snippers, and golf buggies
* Monitor and report any major maintenance issues or safety concerns
* Assist with setup and pack down of outdoor areas for events or busy periods where required
* Maintain storage areas, equipment sheds, and workspaces in a clean and organised condition
* Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
Skills & Requirements:
* Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or a similar role preferred
* Ability to operate and maintain gardening and grounds equipment
* Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high presentation standards
* Physically fit and able to perform manual outdoor work
* Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: $30.00 – $34.00 per hour
