Our client is launching a fresh Japanese quick-service restaurant (QSR) concept, which is high-quality, efficient, scalable, and designed for fast growth across Australia. As they prepare to open their first flagship store, they are seeking a seasoned, strategic Operations Leader to build the operational foundation that will drive rapid multi-site expansion.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced multi-site, Area, Regional, or Senior Operations Manager to step into a start-up environment and take full ownership of building the systems that make a brand scalable. You\\'ll work directly with the founders to establish:
* End-to-end operational systems and workflows.
* Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all functional areas.
* Comprehensive operations manuals development and roll outs.
* Training frameworks and on boarding pathways.
* Performance standards and KPI structures.
* Store opening procedures for future roll outs.
Your work will form the blueprint for national growth, ensuring consistency, efficiency, profitability and strong brand identity across all future stores.
What You\\'ll Bring
We\\'re searching for a commercial and operational leader with a proven track record in QSR new-brand setups, franchising, or rapid multi-site growth. The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience launching or scaling a QSR, hospitality, or franchise brand
* Strong understanding of operational systems, compliance, and brand standards
* Ability to design, document and implement comprehensive SOPs and manuals
* A commercial mindset with solid financial acumen (labour, COGS, P&L management, forecasting)
* Experience supporting or building franchise networks (highly regarded)
* The leadership presence to influence founders, teams, and future franchise partners
* A hands-on approach with the ability to work strategically and operationally
