About The Opportunity
Join Bolton Clarke as a Commercial Manager and lead a high performing commercial team driving financial performance across our Residential Aged Care (RAC) portfolio. This senior role partners closely with Operations, Finance, Workforce, ER, Payroll and Funding teams to guide decision making, optimise labour spend and ensure full compliance with key sector reporting requirements.
Working within a complex, fast paced aged care environment, you will deliver commercial insight, build robust planning cycles and lead critical audits across a $1B+ portfolio. Key activities
* Lead, coach and develop a commercial team to deliver high quality analysis, reporting and commercial support.
* Oversee commercial planning cycles for Residential Aged Care including budgeting, forecasting and operational analytics.
* Deliver accurate, timely and actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision making.
* Manage labour related submissions and audits (24/7, NQIP, QFR) and ensure compliance with aged care regulatory requirements.
* Provide wage modelling, labour analysis and financial impact assessments to support EA planning and workforce decisions.
* Partner with Workforce, ER and Payroll to ensure accurate award interpretation, roster optimisation and classification management.
* Act as a key commercial link between Finance and Operations, embedding strong performance management and commercial discipline.
* Contribute to system improvements, payroll integration, operational projects and organisation wide change initiatives.
* Develop and maintain commercial processes, templates and controls that lift efficiency, consistency and data quality.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
* Significant commercial management experience, ideally within aged care, healthcare, financial services or other regulated sectors.
* Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce or Accounting, with advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
* Strong analytical and commercial judgement, with confidence navigating complex datasets and imperfect information.
* Proven ability to simplify complex financial concepts for nonfinancial stakeholders.
* Experience leading and developing high performing teams.
* Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving regulation and systems.
* Exposure to labour modelling, workforce analytics, payroll interactions, EA interpretation or compliance audits (highly regarded).
