Position Profile:
As part of the multidisciplinary team and in collaboration with the Clinical Midwife Consultant, Clinical Midwife Specialists and Regional Nurse Educators; this position plans, implements and evaluates education and training relevant to the clinical practice of the midwifery cohort. This position is also responsible for the orientation and midwifery development support of midwives and other staff supporting maternity care within the region (including nurses and assistants in nursing/midwifery); and in particular newly qualified and junior midwives. Provides support and clinical facilitation for undergraduate and postgraduate midwives in line with education institution agreements.
