Purpose of the role: We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer with a robust backend Java focus and at least 8+ years of experience. The person will work on building modern applications using microservices and event-driven systems, design and manage APIs, and be hands-on with CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Software Development & Technical Leadership: Designs, develops, and delivers scalable, secure, and reliable digital products and services. Ensures adherence to best practices for software architecture, coding standards, testing, and documentation. Reviews and refines code written by team members, facilitating continuous improvement and maintaining high-quality software solutions.
- Technical Strategy & Innovation: Provides technical guidance, influencing decisions on technology stack, design patterns, and architectural strategies. Actively participates in Agile ceremonies and fosters innovation by recommending modern technologies and practices. Drives the adoption of DevSecOps principles, emphasizing automation, CI/CD, and security.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication: Builds effective relationships with internal stakeholders including developers, product owners, project managers, and solution architects. Communicates complex technical information clearly and effectively, facilitating collaborative decision-making and alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Continuous Learning & Mentorship: Actively pursues personal development to stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Mentors junior engineers, fostering skill growth, knowledge sharing, and professional development within the engineering team.
Must-have
- Java / Spring Boot (backend development)
- Microservices (breaking systems into smaller services)
- Event-driven systems (experience with tools like Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SNS/SQS; any of these is fine)
Nice-to-have
- AWS Cloud experience (but we can consider Azure or GCP)
- Frontend exposure (React or Angular)
- Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, etc.)
