AWX are looking for an experienced and motivated Landscape Maintenance Supervisor to join our client's team in Sumner. If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in quality results, and thrive in a team environment, this could be the role for you.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll plan and coordinate daily works while working alongside your crew. You'll balance supervising the team with carrying out a range of landscape maintenance tasks, ensuring projects are delivered safely and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a small maintenance team
- Plan and coordinate daily schedules, tasks, and resources
- Carry out hands-on horticultural duties such as mowing, pruning, planting, fertilising, irrigation, and weed control
- Safely operate and maintain horticultural equipment
- Liaise with clients, site managers, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality systems
About You
- 3+ years/' experience in landscape maintenance (supervisory or team leader experience preferred)
- Certificate III in Horticulture (or equivalent qualification/experience)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on quality and safety
- Current MR manual driver/'s licence (essential)
- Chemical application accreditation (ACDC ticket) highly regarded
