About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to join the Urgent Care Centre at Barwon Health North. This is a key clinical leadership role supporting the Nurse Unit Manager to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care within a fast‐paced Urgent Care environment.
As the ANUM, you will provide strong clinical and operational leadership across early and late shifts on a rotating roster. You will role model best practice nursing care, support staff development, and contribute to a positive, high‐performing team culture. This role is ideal for a nurse leader with experience in Emergency or Urgent Care who is passionate about quality outcomes and team leadership.
Barwon Health North Urgent Care Centre is a busy, dynamic service located in Geelong's growing northern suburbs and is clinically led by highly skilled Nurse Practitioners, with strong links to University Hospital Geelong Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide clinical and operational leadership to ensure safe, timely, and consumer-centred care
* Support day-to-day shift coordination, staffing, and patient flow within the Urgent Care Centre
* Act as a clinical role model, providing supervision, guidance, and support to nursing staff
* Contribute to service improvement, staff development, and maintenance of clinical standards
What We're Looking For
* Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and relevant postgraduate qualification
* Demonstrated leadership experience within an Emergency or Urgent Care setting
* Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills
