Key HR Advisor Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Key HR Advisor to join our team in a permanent role. As an accomplished professional, you will provide strategic guidance and operational support to ensure the success of people-related initiatives.
About the Position
You will report directly to the Project People & Performance Lead and be responsible for delivering generalist HR advice and support across the Eastern Freeway Burke to Tram Alliance. This includes supporting the implementation of company policies and practices, facilitating corrective dispute resolution and complaint management processes, and ensuring compliance with legislation and industry trends.
Your Primary Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality generalist HR advice and support across Eastern Freeway Burke to Tram Alliance for both CNOP's
* Support and assist the rollout and implementation of all People processes, procedures, and initiatives
* Facilitate corrective dispute resolution and complaint management processes, conducting workplace investigations where necessary
* Ensure the timely completion of company policies and practices to guarantee compliance with legislation, industry trends, and support to the project
* Facilitate the efficient onboarding and offboarding process for the Alliance
* Collaborate with the Resourcing team to guarantee new starters and existing employees are onboarded and redeployed in line with existing policies, processes, and agreed project conditions
* Develop and manage talent mapping, succession planning, and annual review processes
* Prepare regular reports by compiling HR metrics and analytics on staffing, turnover, and other HR-related data
About You
* Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Law, Business, Commerce, or a related field
* More than 3 years of generalist Human Resources experience in a HR/People Advisor level role, preferably within the Construction, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Transport industry
* More than 5 years overall generalist Human Resources experience
* Demonstrated experience providing strategic guidance to identify develop and implement key initiatives and strategies
* Demonstrated expertise in managing Employee Relations matters including performance, mediation, and annual reviews
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis skills, and reporting
* Familiarity with PageUp and/or Success Factors is beneficial but not essential
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels across the Alliance, with the confidence and maturity to handle challenging conversations
* Exceptional written (spelling and grammar) and verbal (personable and professional) communication skills
* Strong focus on employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle, aligned with the Project and parent company's processes, procedures, and values
* Australian or New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Residency required, as this is a permanent, full-time position
