Key Responsibilities
Coordinate projects including managing PCGs (Project Control Groups), status reporting, contracts, budgets, and timelines.
Work closely with designers, suppliers, contractors, consultants, utilities, and internal teams to meet project goals.
Prepare tender requests, review specifications and drawings, and manage contract administration.
Oversee projects from design through construction, including stakeholder consultation and liaison with government bodies.
Report regularly to the Manager Works and Projects and other stakeholders.
Make informed decisions regarding budgets, engineering practices, tender and contract issues.
Maintain cooperative relationships with all stakeholders.
Conduct regular project meetings and manage procurement and scheduling.
Identify risks, develop management strategies, and ensure skilled project management within defined parameters.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Relevant qualifications in Building Construction Project Management or extensive related experience.
Class C driver's licence.
WHS Construction Induction Certification.
2 to 5 years’ experience managing multiple projects end-to-end, especially in buildings.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience working in local government.
