Our team is seeking a skilled professional to coordinate scheduled maintenance and upkeep of properties and equipment.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
* Coordinate routine property maintenance tasks.
* Oversee ad hoc maintenance and upkeep requirements.
* Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of maintenance task progress.
* Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.
* Coordinate a team of maintenance personnel.
* Engage contractors/suppliers to complete maintenance tasks and site upgrades.
* Manage site upgrades and special projects as required.
* Develop scope of works and pricing for maintenance tasks and site upgrades.
* Serve as liaison between property owners and our organization.
* Collaborate with customers to ensure their needs are met.
* Enforce adherence to company policies, processes, and procedures by maintenance personnel.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and audits as necessary.
* Contribute to the development of maintenance procedures and processes.
* Support recruitment and training of maintenance personnel.
Bendigo Rail Workshops is a rail maintenance facility that performs maintenance work for major rail companies. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team working on-site at various locations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Prior experience in property maintenance or a related field.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Basic knowledge of construction and maintenance practices.
