ABOUT THE ROLE
As a STEAM teacher at Frankston Tech School, your key responsibilities include:
* Plan education practices and delivery sessions that reflect the most effective way to engage learners.
* Develop, document and deliver Frankston Tech School's cutting‐edge, technology‐rich, project‐based and problem‐based programs on‐site at Frankston Tech School and off‐site in partner schools, industry and community organisations, and the broader Chisholm Institute Tech School Network.
* Design, develop, and document teaching and learning resources including tailored materials in a range of formats to suit varying learning styles.
* Ensure that teaching materials and resources meet all regulatory standards, training packages and related requirements.
* Establish and maintain a positive learning environment, including encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learning.
* Adapt learning and assessment materials to cater for different students, learning environments, facilities, and resources.
* Undertake a range of administrative, coordination, and learning services activities directly related to the areas taught.
ABOUT YOU
You are a highly motivated individual with well‐developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
* Graduate or Bachelor Degree in Teaching or Education, or TAE Teaching Qualification.
Desirable
* Qualifications in any of the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Maths or related disciplines.
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment TAE40122 or equivalent.
